Throughout the semester we were given a challenge, in which we learned on our own how to create apps. We used App Inventor, a program where we learned to use tutorials to create our own apps for android devices. With App Inventor we learned about different components and how to use block programming. When we had problems and difficulties we didn't go to our teacher for help but to our peers, we were to figure everything on our own. |

Using tutorials on App Inventor we created:
With all these apps we've created, we can now create our own apps!
- Paint Pic: an app in which we took a picture and were able to draw on it.
- Pong: a game we created where we learned how to keep a score which helped us for the QuizMe app.
- QuizMe: an app we created to help us study for History class. This app involved a lot of strategizing because we had to have 5 questions and if we could, keep a score, keeping a score was difficult if we used only one screen for all questions, but if used separate screens then it would've probably been easier.
- Our last app was AlertMe which was easy yet difficult. The tablets we use don't have SIM card so we had to use Google Voice, which got the app to work. AlertMe is an app that sends reminders of deadlines and school events to our classmates, since we don't keep track of what's happening we might as well get text messages on our phones, I mean we always check those, right?
With all these apps we've created, we can now create our own apps!
